Practical Possibilities
Integrating the ecobee's Energy Management with the Remote Senor Module gives you even more capabilites. In light commercial applications, it is sometimes desirable to monitor the temperature of the refrigerators or freezers to ensure they are operating within specifications. When the Remote Sensor Module is configured, alerts can be sent and actions can be triggered if preprogrammed thresholds are reached.

Automated Ventilation Control
A CO2 sensor can be used with the Remote Sensor Module to determine at which point a ventilation system should be activated. This would be programmed to have a trigger point at which the ventilation system would become activated.
